22nd June 2015
Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: nw
Wind Stength: 8/14
Surf / Sea State: flatish
Air Temperature: 16
Sea Temperature:
Weather: sunny periods
Max Speed: 18.38 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 12.55 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

With again offshore winds forecast of 15 mph and a low tide in the morning I decided to try The Dip and see if I could find some flat water behind the shingle bar - I found 1200m of lovely flat water but sadly the wind didn't play ball:( I spent an hour sailing up and down checking the depths and getting the odd gust, this could be good in a strong nw for speed at low water if you are brave enough to sail over! I had a bit of a rest on the lovely Bawdsey beach, even spotting a seal for the second day in a row:) The wind went really light so I beat back to my van and packed up.
Then at 4 the wind picked up !!!
